Prestige 40 under 40

Prestige Singapore's 40 Under 40 names people under forty across business, tech and the arts. I made the 2021 edition for my work in games. The profile ran with a studio portrait and a short interview, done the month I left Ubisoft Singapore for Starbreeze in Sweden.

By then I'd gone from level design assistant at Ubisoft Singapore in 2015 to lead, across four Assassin's Creed titles including Valhalla, the franchise's biggest launch at the time. The interview asked what I was proudest of, and my answer wasn't a game: it was building and mentoring the level design team, including designers at the co-development studios we worked with. On where games are headed, I said I hope they grow into something we learn and reflect with, not only play.
